Here's a first look at the official season 6 promo image as revealed before the Lost panel at Comic Con 2009 - it's a thrown back to the iconic season 1 poster, with a few awesome twists. Most of the main characters appear, and Locke has his back turned!

We can read so much into this, including the idea that (real)Locke will be BACK?

I had to laugh at this, because I've never seen so many characters in a Lost promo poster This season should be fun!

After such a spectacular fakeout with Locke coming back from the dead vs. Locke being an imposter, I think there's every possibility that Locke Will be raised from the dead and come back as himself. The audience members are the only ones who saw Jacob raise Locke from the Dead after he jumped from the window, and told him Everything Was Going To Be Fine. I'm hanging onto that promise with all the fervor of a fangirl!

'Course, this pesky Devil/type person is going to have to be dealt with, the one who's wearing Locke as an appearance.

Still, I can't wait for an HQ version- love the connection to the eariler promo posters! I'm trying to identify all the characters but it's quite hard

As for the line-up, here's what I think: Faraday, Boone, Miles, Michael, Ana-Lucia, Charlotte, Shannon, Desmond, Mr. Eko, Kate, Jack, Sawyer, Locke/Anti-Jacob, Ben, Sayid, Libby, Jin, Claire, Hurley, Juliet, Charlie, Frank, Richard, Bernard, Rose.

Although some folks believe Christian is in there.

That reminded me; they're going to have to tell us what eventually happened to Claire. The writers are going to have lots of explaining to do this season XD

Oops, I missed out Sun - she's in between Libby and Jin.

I haven't read spoilers, so I wouldn't know, but I think the point where new main characters started appearing stopped in season 5. Now it'll just be the same old story.
